10 minutes recipies for student like
Posted: 10 Aug 06 6:05 PM

One of my students asked me this question:

"I am international student and I want to have list of recipes of Pakistani food that I should be able to prepare in 10 minutes are so...."

I said, well, I have few such as:

1. You can buy a bun and hillal chicken round & ready pieces and make a burger with it.

2. Using Tuna cane you can make fish shami kabab. Take tuna, drain extra water, make shami shape and fry with egg on top.

3. Saagh (famous Punjabi dish) is available in cane, you just add "Tarka" touch to  it.

Now let's see what other ideas comes up from others.....

That gave a very long list of ideas for quick recipies.... Such as

9½ minutes Aalo Cholay: You must have these in house all the time....

  1. boiled Chick peas ($1.20 ea for 450g),
  2. Boil 4 medium size pieces Patato (in 5 in Microwave), then cut them
  3. Chat Misala,
  4. 1Tomatto,
  5. 1 Onion
  6. 1 tea spoon Lime Juice (Readmade available)
  7. One bowl to mix all of them

Recipe: (You need to be very quick to meet to 9½ min challenge)

  • Firstly put Patato in microwave and use Jacket Patato cooking feature to boil them for 4-5 minutes. Meanwhile patatos are being boiled
  • Open chick peas can, drain water, it is better the wash with fresh water to kill can smell and put them in bowl.
  • On Microwave request, rotate Patato
  • Cut Tomatto & Onine in bowl (quantity depends on you), onion is optional as well).
  • Take Patato out, peel and cut them in same bowl.
  • Put chat masala on top of these. Mix them and then put lime juice according to your taste.

Give your experience and time saving tips as well.
