Pakistani Australian Completed Hafiz -e- Quran at Age of 12The young boy pursued his goal to become Hafiz-e-Quran at the age of 9, at Rooty Hill, where his Teacher was Hafiz Rehan Bhai. He perfected his pronunciation and completed "Nadra" at Rooty Hill Madrasa. This was achieved through persistent efforts of Hafiz Rehan Bhai and the boy was privileged by being occasionally taught by the highly respected Moulvi Salman (Father of Hafiz Rehan). He completed up to 8 suparas thanks to the Love & Dedication of Hafiz Rehan Bhai for his students.
The student then transferred to the recently established Darul-Uloom NSW in St. Clair. And he was able achieve Hafiz-e-Quran status under supervision of Mufti Amjad. Al-Hamdu-lil-lah, the individual attention and friendly nature of Mufti Amjad allowed his student to become Hafiz in only 3years, at the age of 12.
A humble gathering for the student's Ameen was organised to celebrate his incredible achievement and more importantly to encourage others also pursue this path for life. This is one of the few Hafiz who was born in Australia and fully completed Hifz-e-Quran in Australia. This is a proud achievement not only for this boy's teachers but also the institutions that facilitated the process. The gathering was attended by highly respected personalities, including Moulana Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, Moulvi Shamim, Sheikh Rizwan, Nizam-ul-Haque Thanvi, Hafiz Rehan Bhai, Mufti Amjad, Moulvi Naeem and Qari Abdul-Rahman. The boy's Parents would like to thank all those who attended and especially the Guests of Honour who took time out from their extremely busy schedule. Insha'Allah this will encourage other kids to become Hafiz.
