Mohammad Asif was sent to Australia by the Pakistan Cricket Board to seek treatment for his nagging elbow injury.After successful surgery Asif Returns to Pakistan from Sydney. He departed for Pakistan on Wednesday 19th Dec 2007 from Sydney International Airport.

Visa Facilities has been opened in Sydney again:
Pakistan Government now reopen visa office in Sydney. Although visa service in Canberra was very good but it was inconvenient for the community settled in Sydney to get their visas from Canberra.We believe that the Pakistani Consulate office will provide speedy and prompt visa service in Sydney.
