These arrangements take account of the changes to the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) that came into effect on 1 July 2010, as well as the revocation of the Migration Occupation in Demand List (MODL) and the Critical Skills List (CSL). The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, said on Tuesday 11th May 2010. The Government will sharpen the focus of the skilled migration program on areas of skills shortage but will maintain the current overall size of the migration program. The overall size of the migration program will remain unchanged with a total of 168 700 places, comprising a total skill stream of 113 850 places, a total family stream of 54 550 places and 300 special eligibility places.

DIAC has announced a new Skilled Occupation List (SOL) for General Skilled Migration (GSM). The new SOL does apply for non-GSM visas, such as ENS, RSMS or Subclass 457.

The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, said on Tuesday 11th May 2010. The Government will sharpen the focus of the skilled migration program on areas of skills shortage but will maintain the current overall size of the migration program. The overall size of the migration program will remain unchanged with a total of 168 700 places, comprising a total skill stream of 113 850 places, a total family stream of 54 550 places and 300 special eligibility places.

Current form of democracy and the government in Pakistan would not deliver anything to the country except further disaster…. these political comedians have made a country joke…. and if anything could save Pakistan and free the nation from looters is a benevolent army dictatorship, these were the conclusive views of well-known Pakistani political analyst & a writer Mr. Hassan Nisar and a senior technocrat Dr. Mubashir Hassan, in a famous GEO TV Show ‘Meray Mutabiq’ of Dr. Shahid Masood.
